Members of the Red Clay Ramblers and John Haber first presented The Merry Wives of Windsor, Texas in the early '70s.  The latest production was at the Great Lakes Theater Festival in Cleveland, Ohio, in the fall of 2001, and was dedicated to Tommy Thompson.   The name expanded to Lone Star Love, or The Merry Wives of Windsor, Texas in recent productions.
