Jim Watson...
founding member of the Red Clay Ramblers, currently tours with Robin and Linda Williams in Their Fine Group. Besides his recordings with the Red Clay Ramblers and Robin & Linda Williams, Jim has three solo CDs, This World Would Be All Sunshine, Willie's Redemption, and Don't Tell Me, I Don't Know.  Both include O'Blurs Mike Craver and Bill Hicks on some cuts as well as many more of Jim's friends. Jim also performs with the Green Level Entertainers and Leroy Savage.  For 20+ straight years, Jim has ushered in the Christmas season with his show at the Cave in Chapel Hill.  His 26th Cave Christmas show is now on CD!  Before the Red Clay Ramblers, Jim recorded with the Hollow Rock String Band on their second LP.

Christmas at the Cave NOW ON CD!

Jim's Cave Christmas shows have kicked off the season for his fans for more than two decades.  #26 (2011) was recorded and released in time for Christmas 2012.  Revisit Jim's 24th Annual Cave Christmas Show (2009), sing along with the videos and view the "Shroud of Touring" pic (shown here).  Jim's Christmas Shows 2005 includes pics and news articles ("Caroling in a Cave") from Jim's shows in Chapel Hill and Hillsborough. Jim's Photo Album has pics from Jim's Cave Christmas show 2000, founding Red Clay Ramblers and friends at Jim's house at Christmas 2000, and a benefit for Tommy Thompson, Easter weekend 1997.  All can be found on Jim's homepage.
